托福聽力測驗 - 常見的學科分類
就我自己的托福考試經驗，以及我的老師和網路上提供的資料，幫大家整理了托福聽力測驗中最常出現的學科內容，在準備單字時可以依照各個學科做整理方便整合記憶，並且在準備托福聽力時，可以針對這幾個方向去找資料練習。
舉Meteorology例來說：就可以衍生下列單字
1) Meteorology 氣象學 → meteorologist 氣象學家
2) climate 氣候
3) forecast (predict) 預報
4) atmosphere 大氣層
5) troposphere 對流層
6) stratosphere 平流層
7) current 水流；氣流；電流
8) evaporate (V.)蒸發
9) humidity 濕度
10) moisture 潮濕；水分
11) saturate (V.)飽合；浸透
12) blizzard (snowstorm) 暴風雪
13) avalanche (snow slide) 雪崩
14) precipitation （雨、露、雪等）降水
