Proposal from the student

 A student has written a proposal to suggest it is necessary for the school to cancel the meeting between students and advisors on course selection. Basic information needed by the students is available on the website. Now, help will just be a mouse click away with the online information. The appointments with advisors are hard to make due to their heavily-occupied schedule and time conflict.

二、聽力對話內容

Women: I am glad that someone has suggested cancelling the meeting between students and advisors.

Man: Oh, really. Why do you think so?

Women: Well, I do not think it’s necessary since you can find all the information online.

Man: I do not think it will work so well. The website in the school could only provide basic information, but the advisors can give students extra useful information before they take different classes.

Women: But do you think the advisors are available to make every appointment? I think they all have a busy schedule.

Man: I guess the schedule problem does not really exist. Student only need to make phone calls to make appointment with their advisor early. They will have plenty of time available for them to meet advisors. Only those who wait till the last minute can not make it.

Women: Oh, that is right. We should act quickly.
