C. If you reconstruct something that has happenedin the past, you combine a lot of information in order to get a complete description of what happened.

25. prove (V.) :to show a particularresult after a period of time.
ex. The dispute over the song rights proved impossible to resolve.

26. embed (V.) :把…牢牢嵌入(或插入、埋入)

27. deposit (N./ V.) :
A. to leave something somewhere
ex. The bus deposited me miles from anywhere.
B. to put something valuable, especially money, in a bank or safe (= strong box or cupboard with locks)
ex. There's a night safe outside the bank, so you can deposit money whenever you wish.
C. a substance or layerthat is left, usually after aliquid is removed
ex. Decant the wine carefully, so that you leave the deposit in the bottom of the bottle.
